About Grow Where You Are

Grow Where You Are is dedicated to developing farms and assisting in ecological growth in urban areas to increase health, economic, and environmental benefits by creating local, sustainable food systems. In 2012, Grow Where You Are created the Good Shepherd Agro-Ecological Center in the West End, Atlanta. The Ecology Center includes a 3-acre farming site that also serves as a research, teaching and training facility for ecological sustainability. The Good Shepherd site has impressively produced over 15,000 lbs of food, served over 8,000 people, and facilitated over 140 service groups.
