This is to remove the carbonation before adding it to lye. It takes over 3 bottles of beer to make an 8 pound batch of soap. You can actually use our beer soaps to wash your hair. Follow that up with a beer rinse! The proteins from the malt and hops rebuild and repair damaged hair. Try a beer rinse once a month for soft shiny hair!
